Happy Belated Birthday
Yomi!!

[08 July 2007]

Sorry this came late. You know la.. My Okui.Net is on strike. Thanks to Vamp.Net, I'm able to load this once the owner onlines. kikiki...

I know you don't take chocolates, however, just enjoy the pigginess.

The New Annadition of Year 2007 Pig Pat
(Year 2007 is the Year of Pig)

God gave a gift to the world when you were born—

a person who loves, who cares,

who sees a person’s need and fills it,

who encourages and lifts people up,

who spends energy on others

rather than herself,

someone who touches each life she enters,

and makes a difference in the world,

because ripples of kindness flow outward

as each person you have touched, touches others.

Your birthday deserves to be a national holiday,

because you are a special treasure

for all that you’ve done.

May the love you have shown to others

return to you, multiplied.

I wish you the happiest of birthdays,

and many, many more,

so that others have time to appreciate you

as much as I do.

By Joanna Fuchs

I'm glad I have known you as my friend,
I appreciate our friendship till this very day,
I'm grateful to have you as my friend till this day..
Wish to have you as my beloved friend again in the next world.
(Maklumla, someone said I'm in my Mid-Life already)

:+: Iglool :+:

:+: Iglool with an extra L :+:

There's two Iglool in Kuching. There's one in 4th Mile and another in King Centre. I went to the King Centre's Iglool. It shares the same building as FTMS. Go figure.

What's with the extra 'L'? How do you actually pronounce it?
ee-glu-oo-L?

The exterior doesn't look like an Igloo, that's why it's called Iglool. ngeheheh.. *self defined term* Look at the glass, it says, 'Wi Fi not available yet'. Maybe 'Wi Fi coming soon..' would sound better. From outside, you can see the whole place is BRIGHT and cozy and cold (literally by its name, Iglool).

:+: Snow flakes! :+:

:+: I like the concept using bottles of flowers but I don't like fake flowers :+:

There you have the Igloo with a HUGE penguin up there. The Igloo and Penguin is on top of the counter. That fella is not THE only person to take pictures of the penguin, I as well. This penguin reminded me so much of Happy Feet. Have you watched it yet?

Let's talk food now. *slurps slurps*
Yes.. That's an egg yolk on ice. I was SuperShocked when Angel ordered this. I'm like WTF egg yolk?! RAW EGG YOLK mind you. RAW is WAR. War among the ice lar.. Extra topping, the egg yolk, is an additional of RM0.50. You can curi bring one in and crack it in yourself. That'll cost you RM0.22 only. Caught = Priceless. Haha..

You have to bury the egg yolk in the milk ice till it's cooked? Somehow frozen a little and you can savour its sweetness and slimyness. I tried a little. It's pretty good but I still can't see how ice and egg yolk blends here. yerkz...

This is mine babehs. It's of course taste like mango and sweet. (^.<)> You can opt for extra mango jam topping and that'll be extra RM1.00. I wanted Fresh Real Mango for the topping, unfortunately, they only have JAM. cis... !@$#@%$&!!

Here are the Menus. It's too small if you see it at this size. Therefore, feel free to click them for the full picture. Prices are all in Ringgit Malaysia. *kaching kaching*

That's right.. Secret Recipe it is. This is my third visit here.

This time I went to Secret Recipe all by myself. Why? hehe.. There was a long queue in MAS Counter. So, I crossed the road and treat myself with some goodie rather than sitting like a dumb *ss waiting for my turn.

:+: Boo hoo.. sitting alone is no fun. IT'S HILLARIOUSLY BORING!! :+:

:+: I feel like I'm the only fish in the sea :+:

:+: I wished someone was there sitting with me :+:

:+: My prize after waiting for 20 minutes (sitting alone a 20 minutes is like centuries) :+:

:+: BANANAS!! YUMMY!! :+:

:+: Look.... Yummy Slurpy Chocolate Banana :+:

:+: I'm going for it~~ :+:

:+: My drink came only when I almost finish the cake :+:

:+: Superlicious :+:

:+: I would like to dedicate this to their service. Slow and steady as an okui :+:

:+: If I'm Ragnarok Priest, I would cast Agility (skill) so they'll move faster! :+:

:+: Dedicate this to MAS service. AS SLOW AND UGLY AS A SNAIL! :+:

:+: Scoops :+:

** sketched this during class **

Gelato is an Italian ice cream made from milk and sugar. Later, it is combined with fresh fruit or other ingredients such as chocolate (pure chocolate, flakes, chips, candies, truffles), nuts, small candies, sweets, or cookies, or biscuits. Gelato generally has less than 35% air - resulting in a dense and extremely flavoursome product. [taken from Wikipedia]

Banana Cheese

Scoops, the Gelato Bar, is the only place that serves gelato, so far..

Located just opposite Hilton. As most of you know Hilton area, it's hilly. Where do you think Hilton got its name? Hahaha.. jk..

Frankly, bicycle is the best transport to get yourself to Scoops. To park your car there is like putting an elephant into the fridge. o.O!! SERIOUS

There are like 12 flavours of gelato for you to try. Single scoop is RM5, Double scoops is RM8 and Triple scoops would be RM12. You can try a small scoop before deciding which flavour you like.

From left: Choco pop, Smth purple berry (I think it's Blackcurrant or Blueberry)

Top from left: Oreo, Strawberry, Banana Cheese, *forgotten*
Bottom from left: Yogurt, Kiwi, Tangerin, Lemon

After testing Lau Hong (not crispy) Choco Puff and Banana Cheese, we decided to get the Banana Cheese. It taste banana-ish and cheezy. *slurps*

Scoops not only serves gelato, but they also serve from the oven.

Top to bottom from left: Cheese cakes, muffins (RM12 come with a small scoop of gelato), brownies (RM7 for 2 pieces), eclairs (RM15 for 3, with a lil gelato in the middle)

We got ourselves some brownies to go with the gelato.

The interior is very cozy and breathtaking. WHY? That's 'cause:

:: NO BULLSHITTING :: NO SMOKING :: NO BACKSTABBING ::NO GOSSIPING ::NO SPITTING :: NO FARTING ::

Apart from the yummy gelato, brownies and the breathtaking interior, the people in this picture are far more breathtaking. Ahiaks..

I wasn't in the picture, so I paste my face in it. muahahahhaa.. The balloon was part of Scoops decoration - Valentine's Day.

P/s: The waitresses aren't friendly.
