:+: 1 Now 1 Nescafe :+:

Went to BDC Everise on yesterday (the Sardinised pau is sold somewhere in this very same building). I have to restock my coffee, my power drink. One cup of coffee help me stay zombie-free. Therefore, I start my day with a cup of coffee.

I've just finished a bottle of Nescafe Gold. It's quite plain and not very kicking, not KAW as some would say it. So, I'm going for Nescafe Arabica this time. I like the aroma of it when I first drank it from the mini hotel packing. Can you imagine Coffee without the aroma? Wah lao.. It's like having internet connection without a computer. Go figure..

There were no bottled Nescafe Arabica so I took the refill packet. I didn't take a picture of it and went to Nestle to look for it. Guess what? They don't have it. Zzzzz..

Anyway, the SPOONS caught my eyes. So cute ok! Why don't they just do the same for Nescafe Arabica? This marketers are really genius. Instead of getting just one packet of coffee, I got myself two coffee in two different packing. Grok grok... Nescafe Classic VS Nescafe Arabica. Which should I start first? Hmmm...

:+: Spring Beef Noodles :+:

I've been eating at Spring Garden since my kindy years. What's so special there? The 'Gu Bak Mee' (Beef Noodles) lar. Not just any beef noodles, it's Taiwan Beef Noodles. Originating from Taiwan even the tauke-nio is from Taiwan. Her husband is local. Sometimes, you see her son helping around. At times, her son runs the business. I prefer her. Haha.. More generous with the Gu Bak (beef) mar..

:+: The Pink Paper says, 'Closed on Friday' :+:

:+: Reasonable Price :+:

The noodles are all handmade. There are 2 kinds of handmade noodles. The thick penyet that looks like kueh tiaw and the normal round noodles. I recommend the thick penyet ones. More chewy~

:+: The Gu Bak Mee goes nicely with the special sauce :+:

:+: The Spicy Tauchio mixed with the noodles = SEDAP :+:

:+: The Thick Handmade Beef Noodles :+:

I have this very bad habit:
I like to cucuk my chopstick into my food.

:+: I love the preserved kiam chai (preserved vege) :+:

:+: Here's the location :+:

:+: Foochow Breakfast :+:

Last time I used to go to this coffeeshop for breakfast every Sunday with my family. They serve Foochow food, Pork Leg Rice and Bak Kut Teh. Now, we rarely go there anymore because the Pork Leg Rice/Bak Kut Teh tauke moved to a new place. His Pork Leg Rice and Bak Kut Teh is very nice. My dad loves his pork leg very much, I like his Bak Kut Teh very very much. This tauke moved to his own shop. The kopitiam is next to the MAS building, the same block as Junction Corner.

Soon, Mr. Pork Leg Rice ex-shop evolve from some chinese name coffeeshop to Grandma Klang. Not far from here, there are new shoplots near the appartment. There is a shop called Madam Tang. For those of you who have been to KL or is living in KL, you would know of a popular dining area called Madam Kwan. Madam Kwan? Madam Tang? Madam Grandma Kwan-Tang? Hmm.. Just coincidence or double coincidence. Not like I'm saying they're copying names and all.. but they should try something more likely not coincidence to some people like me. Probably, Ah Ma Kwan or Tang Ah So or something. Just Kidding..

Grandma Klang specialized in Bak Kut Teh as shown:
