There's this interesting bakery shop at Jalan Song called Aloha Bakery. It is at the same row as the new Upwell Supermarket.
You can smell the delicious pastry smell once you get down from your car.
I couldn't resist the temptation of having one of their freshly baked BEEF PIE!!

Naked Green Beans
Sweet Green Beans Porridge (Lek Tau Suan) or in Anna's language; Naked Green Beans Soup
I found this recipe in www.kuali.com
Ingredients
Soak the beans in water for 30 minutes. Drain and steam on high heat for 20 minutes.
Peel the orange and reserve flesh for some other use. Slice the orange peel.
Bring the rock sugar, castor sugar, water and pandan leaves to a boil. Add the beans, orange peel and water chestnut solution. Cook until the soup thickens slightly and has a translucent look.
Serve with the thinly sliced Chinese crullers.

Gonna Taste Sabah
Hey all..
I'll be leaving Kuching for Kota Kinabalu, Sabah this Friday (20th October 2006).
I've done a little research on Sabah's delicacies and hoping to try them in KK.
Here's some preview on Sabah's goodies:
Tuaran is famous for their Tuaran Noodles. Hopefully, I can stop by Tuaran to try the noodles. hiak hiak..

Beautiful Yummy Mooncakes
First of all, I would like to apologize for not blogging for quite some time.
Secondly, I would like to Congratulate my aunty on the Official Opening of her company, Fabulous Holidays.
