:+: Konnyaku :+:

All you need is a can of fine peaches, a packet of Konnyaku powder, half small bowl of sugar and 1000ml of water.

This packet of Konnyaku powder is bought from Wee Hock Bakery Ingredients Shop. It costs only RM1.80. Compare with the one sold in the supermarket (RM5.85) it uses 1250ml water. It is more expensive and makes almost the same amount as this brandless powder.

Imagine walking at Travillion Mall at night with a packet of this. Then police come Sapu. This small packet white powder is enough to get you hang for carrying dadah more than X miligram. Imagine nia la.

First of all, open up the can of peaches and drain them. The syrup is about 250ml. So, you just add in the additional 750ml to make up to 1000ml.

Stir in the konnyaku powder into the 1000ml of water + syrup. Make sure the powder is not seen anymore before putting the pot on fire.

Put on small fire to boil.

Add in the sugar when it is boiling a little and stir well.

When it is boiling so Chiong like this, you can off the fire. Place the peaches into the tray and scoop in the 'cooked' konnyaku.

Set on rack for the konnyaku jelly to cool faster then put them in the fridge. One small packet of this konnyaku powder can make 4 trays.

Enjoy~

Serve the Konnyaku Jellies cold.

:+: Apple Crumbles :+:

Presenting...

Apple Crumbles

Gladys guess it right from the previous post. *sigh* So fast de.

This is something you can make for Father's Day in a tea party or as a dessert.

Here's what you need:
  • 5 Apples
  • 250g Sugar (You can cut down to 180g, so it won't be too sweet)
  • 500g Flour
  • 250g Butter (Salted)
  • Cinamon powder
  • Lemon Juice

Method:

  1. Peel the apples and cute them into wedges. Then, slice them (about 0.3cm thick)
  2. Arrange them in trays or 'teng kat' (stainless steal containers).
  3. Squeeze some lemon juice and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  4. Shift the cinamon powder on the apples. (By using a shift, cinamon powder can 'spread' widely easily)

As for the crumbs,

  1. The ratio for the butter and flour is 1:2. If you use1 bar of butter (250g), your flour would be 500g.
  2. The ratio for the sugar to butter is 1:1. Therefore, your sugar is at the same weight as your butter (250g).
  3. Shift the flour and mix with the sugar.
  4. Add in the butter and mix gradually, then use your hands to mix them.
  5. Don't knead into dough!
  6. To get crumbles, rub the mixture in your hands as if rubbing your hands.

This makes 2 Mickey Mouse.
Bake at 180 degrees and at 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  2. Micro for 1 minute. Then turn the noodle and micro for another 1 minute.

Just like those Mee Goreng by Maggi, Myojo and those Indon instant noodles. This one is a Chinese style of Mee Goreng. It is spicy and good. So, by adding some carrots and cucumber, it makes the noodles not so plain and there's something crispy to chew. kekeke...

:+: Sandwiches :+:

Hehe.. Some of you may think I don't eat much during my studying week for my finals.

I EAT THE MOST WHEN I'M STUDYING!

I have the biggest appetite when I'm studying. Don't ask my why 'cause I also don't know why.
I eat more than I study. It's like I can't study without chewing anything. Chew notes meh...

:+: My Special 3 Storeys Ham Sandwich :+:

First, toast the bread. Then peng the ham to heat the ham. After that, cut out a few slices of cucumber and tomato. Layer ham then tomato and cucumber. Too bad no cheese. Else, it'll be superb!

:+: Stack them up, higher than my finance books :+:

:+: Extra Toasted Bread :+:

:+: Kiap Ice Cream in between the bread :+:

:+: This is one of the best :+:

So, do you think I starve when I'm studying? I gained more weight than knowledge.

:+: Jagung Jagung Don't Gong Gong :+:

:+: A bunch of FRESH CORNS :+:

First, tear off the rough outter layers of the corns. Yes, TEAR! Next, throw them into the oven. Put a small glass of water inside the oven. This will maintain the moisture and the corns won't turn out dry dry.

Set Micro Power to HIGH or 140 degrees and PENG for 10-15 minutes. Mine are done in 12 minutes.

After you hear the TING sound from the oven, open and take out the corns. Tear the skin and you'll get juicy sweet yellow corns waiting for you to savour it!

Tips: Cook the corn with its skin. This can save your time and no trouble to pull ALL the hair off the corn!
